What are the new buses in Last Stop?
September added six buses to the garage menu: the Alien, Rocket, Armoured, and Golden buses arrived with the mid-month update, and Fury and Pirate came in with UPDATE 3 on 19 September. They sit in the same bus menu as the Classic and Military rides — on 19 September the category rail runs Classic, Military, Rocket, Armoured, Golden, Fury, Pirate, Limousine, eight rows with the Pirate row ticked as owned — and each has its own card spelling out exactly what it does before you spend anything.

That rail is worth reading carefully, because it holds no Alien row — see the Alien section below for what we can and cannot say about that. Three of the six new buses have straight Ticket prices on their cards. The other three are the odd ones out: the Alien and Pirate buses show no price because neither is bought — one comes from the alien token spin, the other from the Ocean Spin — and Fury shows none because it is a day-gated claim. The three you can buy, and which one deserves your Tickets first depends on what usually ends your run.
How does the Rocket Bus boost work?
The Rocket Bus costs 10K Tickets, and its card states the whole deal: fuel the boosters with 2 gas cans to launch the bus at 3x speed until the tank runs dry. Two boosters hang on the back, the bus is painted red, and it is by far the loudest way to cover the map.

The demo in the showcase makes the fuel rule clear:
- Load two gas cans into the boosters. Walk to the rear of the bus and press E on the Refuel Thruster prompt while holding a Gas Can.
- Drive and press the boost button when it appears at the bottom of the screen. You fly at 3x speed for as long as the tank has gas.
- Re-arm with two fresh cans. When the tank runs dry the boost ends — and refueling the bus does not bring it back. You must add two more gas cans to the boosters before it works again.
That last rule is the trap. In the footage, the player refuels the tank, finds the boost still disabled, and has to go back for two more cans. At 3x speed you burn fuel fast, and a dry tank ends runs — the fuel discipline from the upgrades page applies double here.

Is the Golden Bus worth 7.5K Tickets?
The Golden Bus card reads: starts with golden wheels, +15 top speed, 3,000 wheel health, and +10% ticket rewards — for 7.5K Tickets. It is the flashiest bus in the garage because it is literally made of gold, wheels included, and it is the only one that pays you back while you drive: every run earns a tenth more Tickets.
The stat that matters most is the least glamorous. Wheels are the bus’s soft spot — they take road damage all run — and 3,000 wheel health is more than double the Armoured Bus’s pool. If you can afford it, the Golden Bus is the best long-term pick: speed, tank wheels, and a ticket bonus that compounds every single run. Today’s codes hand out free Tickets, which softens the 7.5K price considerably.

How do you get the Alien Bus and the Alien Class?
The Alien Bus cannot be bought — the showcase only shows it coming from the token spin, the new glowing portal in the lobby. The board behind it is honest about the odds:

One thing to flag before the numbers. The card above came from the 16 September showcase, and when we re-read the garage rail on 19 September footage there was no Alien row in it at all — the eight rows run Classic, Military, Rocket, Armoured, Golden, Fury, Pirate, Limousine. We have not seen the game since, so we cannot tell you whether the row only appears once you own the bus, whether it sits behind a scroll we never captured, or whether the 16 September frame showed a state that has since changed. The spin itself, the odds below and the Alien Class card are all unaffected by that question; it is the garage label that is unresolved.

- A spin costs 15 alien Tokens, and the prize table runs from Ticket bundles (10 at 49.5% up to 500 at 1.5%) to a 1x Class Reroll at 0.5%, the Alien Class at 0.5%, and the Alien Bus at 1.0%.
- A pity meter tracks the Alien Bus — the counter reads 0/50, so the grind is bounded even if luck is bad.
- Tokens come from the aliens themselves. Invaded landmarks — houses with crashed UFOs, a scrapyard with ships hovering overhead — spawn aliens, some with ray guns, and every kill drops a token pickup.
The Alien Class is the bus’s companion piece: you spawn with a ray gun — good for 42 damage per shot in the showcase, reloaded with batteries found around the map — plus an alien hoverboard that the class card says glides 5 studs above the ground at double speed for as long as you keep it out.

In the field, the bus itself summons friendly aliens that fight alongside you, on a cooldown the showcase clocks at around five minutes. Even a “miss” on the spin pays Tickets, so saving tokens is never wasted — the full loop that feeds this grind is in the beginner guide.
What does the Armoured Bus actually do?
At 5K Tickets the Armoured Bus is the cheapest of the three priced buses, and its card promises deployable steel window shutters, +10 top speed, and 1,750 wheel health. The shutters answer the oldest death in the game: on a normal bus, zombies climb in through the windows. With the shutters toggled on, they get stuck outside.
The demo shows the trade honestly. Blocked from the windows, the horde starts hitting your tires instead — trying to strand you — which is exactly why the card bundles that 1,750 wheel health. One detail from the footage: even with the door open, walkers did not path inside. If checkpoint sieges keep bleeding you, this is the defensive pick; the checkpoint guide shows the fights it is built for.
What are the Fury and Pirate buses?
UPDATE 3 put two more rows on the garage rail on 19 September, and neither one works like the priced buses.
Fury is a progression reward, not a purchase. Its card reads, verbatim: “Claimable on Day 7 once the Military Bus has been taken. Rusted war rig with a spiked ram, caged windows and a floodlight bar bolted to the roof.” There is no Ticket price on the card — the balance readout beside it just shows the player’s own Tickets — so the gate is the calendar and the Military Bus, not your wallet. One caution: in the same footage the creator says “day 14” out loud while the screen says Day 7. We follow the screen, and it is worth reading the card yourself before planning a run around either number.

Pirate is the UPDATE 3 spin prize, and it is the bus the Ocean Biome currency actually buys you. Its card reads: “A planked corsair bus flying the black flag, with a deck cannon on the roof anyone can climb into and fire.” Under the render sits a banner that says “Win it from the Ocean Spin!” — no price, because no amount of Tickets moves it. In the same clip a player character is standing on the roof beside that cannon, which is the description proving itself: the gun is a mount you use, not decoration.

The board it comes from is the Ocean Spin: 1.0% for the bus, 0.5% for the Pirate Class, 15 Ocean Tokens a spin, and a PITY counter reading 0/50 under the bus. Tokens drop from kills on the oil rig, so the whole grind has a source page of its own — see Ocean Tokens for the earn loop and the full prize table. The class roster covers what the Pirate and Electrocute classes cost and do, and our Pirate Bus guide tests what the deck cannon is worth in a run — including the places the bus flat-out fails.
Which new bus should you buy first?
Match the bus to what kills your runs:
- Dying to boarders at stops — the Armoured Bus (5K) closes the window problem for the lowest price.
- Already surviving, want every run to fund the next — the Golden Bus (7.5K) pays +10% ticket rewards forever and has the tankiest wheels.
- Want speed and will manage fuel — the Rocket Bus (10K) is a map-covering machine, but every boost costs two gas cans and a dry tank ends runs.
- Want the Alien Bus — save Tokens for the alien spin and let the pity meter work.
- Want a bus without spending — Fury is the only one that costs no Tickets at all; it unlocks on Day 7 once the Military Bus is taken, so it rewards a long account rather than a fat vault.
- Chasing the Pirate Bus — you cannot buy it. Harvest Ocean Tokens on the oil rig, spend 15 a spin, and let the 0/50 pity tracker do the rest.
However you spend, remember the garage is only half the build — the upgrade priority still decides whether any bus survives the late game, and selling ruthlessly is what funds it all, per what to sell. UPDATE 3 has now landed and its window has already closed: the Ocean Biome page keeps the dates and the confirmed content, and the two rows it added to this garage list are documented above.
